Permit Fees
Connection Fees (GFCs)
Per District Resolution 299-04, approved by the Board of Commissioners
on October 27, 2004, the revised connection fees are as follows:

| a. Residential (including modular homes) | $3,600 each |
| b. Multiple family (apartments, condominiums, duplexes, hotels and motels) | $2,880 per unit |
| c. Commercial/Business/Industrial* | $3,600 for the first 1,000 sq ft $3.60 per each add'l sq ft |
| *At the property owner’s option the fee will be a rate of $18.95 per gallon per day. A fee based upon flow will initially be determined based on a certified flow calculation prepared by a registered Engineer or Architect in the State of Washington and the judgment of District staff. The connection fee will then be adjusted after six months or full occupancy whichever comes first based upon actual water usage at the facility. If not fully occupied in six months the average daily water usage for the six-month period will be applied to the entire project, as if fully occupied. | |
Inspection Fees are charged for final inspection of connections and reconnections to the sewer system. The current inspection fee is $125.00 per stub.
Area Charges, based on the size of the property, are assessed to all properties within the District’s boundaries, generally at the time of annexation into the District. Most properties within the District have paid the appropriate area charges. However, there are still a few properties that have not. You will need to contact the District office to verify payment of area charges associated with your property.
Assessments are charged at the time sewer utility improvements are made to the property, generally through a ULID (utility local improvement district). All ULID assessments are collected by the Snohomish County Treasurer. Questions regarding assessments should be directed to the Treasurer’s office at 425-388-3750.
Plan Review Fees are charged and collected prior to approval of submitted plans. The current plan review fee is $125.00 per stub or building, whichever is greater. If the plans require the installation of a main line, a main line inspection fee of $125.00 is also charged.
