August 8, 2007
The Board of Commissioners has approved a rate schedule to be effective
January 1, 2008. The new rate structure
is needed to cover ongoing operations and maintenance expenses, as well
as supplementing capital projects, with the Big Gulch Sanitary Sewer
Pipeline project having the largest impact on future rates.
November 18, 2005
The District has issued a Draft
Environmental Impact Statement for the Big Gulch Sanitary Sewer Trunk
Pipeline and Stormwater High-Flow Bypass Pipeline Project. A public
meeting to take oral comments will be conducted on December 20, 2005
at 6:00 PM in the Mukilteo Water District Auditorium, 7824 Mukilteo
Speedway, Mukilteo, Washington.
November 1, 2005
The District has scheduled a Rate Hearing for Wednesday, November 23,
2005 at 5:00 p.m. Staff will be presenting the proposed
rate increase needed to meet operation and maintenance as well as
future capital needs. The effective date of the proposed rate increase
is planned for January 1, 2006.
June 18, 2005
A Special Joint OTSD and Mukilteo Water District Board of Commissioners
meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at 6:00 p.m.
at the Mukilteo Water District office. The meeting will discuss a work
plan with consultants regarding a potential merger/consolidation of
the sewer and water districts.
