The Washington State Auditor’s Office States No Findings
The Washington State Auditor’s Office today released the Accountability Audit Report and Financial Statements Audit Report for the period of January 1, 2004 to December 31, 2005. The results of the audit were that “the District complied with state laws and regulations and its own policies and procedures in the areas we examined. Internal controls were adequate to safeguard public assets” (the Accountability Audit Report, page 1). District officials and staff were thanked for their cooperation and assistance during the audit process.
